Presentation

My interest for dogs started at early age. My godmother´s labrador retriver "Justiina" introduced me to dog life. When I turned 11 years, I got my first own dog a welsh terrier bitch called "Honey" (FI CH Honyadi) in year 1989. 

Together with my younger sister and our future welsh terrier in Rauma 1989. 

Together with Honey, I got introduced to the world of dog shows, dog training and agility. New challenges where offered by my next dog a kerry blue terrier "Mosse" (B.I.C&FI&SE&EST CH W-99 Slievemish Xmas Vindicator) since 1994. With both of my terriers I ran also blood tracking. After Honey flying to ever green fields, my father got a hunting labrador retriver "Peggy" (Fattiglappens Dixi) for me to train. The second welsh in row "Mocca" (FI CH Upos Twinkle) moved to my sister´s home in year 2005.

After Mosse´s time, I got a welsh Millie (Upos Supernova) in autumn 2007. For the time being there are three dogs in our family, which get together during weekends and holidays.

Mission

Our dogs are primaly family members.  Our terriers are shown on dog shows, but they are also active in other fields like obedience, agility and blood tracking. The labrador is apart from being a pet, also used for hunting as gundog. I find it important to let he dog use it´s natural instincts and work in the field the breed is breed for.

Vision

I wish to be able contribute with my actions to maintain or even improve the breed in terms of health, character, apperiance and vitality. 

Who am I?

I have been active with dogs both by showing and training for several purposes. I have learned handling dogs in shows during my Junior Handling carrer in the years 1991-1996 with the best result being the champion of Helsinki kenneldistrict in the year 1995. I have experience of handling terriers, dachshunds, retrivers, shepards and poodles.

In the field of dog training, I have been working as a coach both in agility and obedience. I have had and still have several positions of trust among others in Espoo dog society (Espoon koirakerho ry.), Finnish Welsh Terrier Club (Walseinterrierikerho ry. chariman 2008, 2009), Finnish Terrier organisation (Suomen terrierijärjestö ry.) and Kenneldistrict of Helsinki (Helsinginseudun kennelpiirin terrierijaos). 

I have an education of M.Sc (Nutrition) and been working for the food industry for several years. I am a Finnish citizen and study for the time being in Tartu, Estonia veterinary medicine.
